Campervan Conversion Everest 22: The Fowlers

The team at Wildworx worked together with the Fowler family to create their dream VW T6.1 Campervan Conversion. It needed to work for 2 adults and a child for various types of adventure. From short weekend trips to big European summers.

  • Base Van: VW T6.1 Short Wheel Base 150bhp Highline
  • Roof: Westdubs Pop Top Roof
  • Canvas: Bright yellow with Panoramic opening
  • Furniture Board: Sand Zebrano
  • VanShades: Stone
  • Floor: Walkway Cloud Altro
  • Carpet: Smoke
  • RIB: 129cm width
  • Chrome Accents
  • Alcantara Fabric Accents
  • Brick Fabric
  • Dometic CRX50 Fridge/Freezer
  • Underslung LPG Gas
  • Underslund Water Tanks

The Wildworx Everest 22 model is all about functionality, great sleep and clean lines. We prioritise the extra wide RIB bed to give that extra room at night. Sticking the tanks (LPG + Water) underneath the van means we don’t compromise storage.

It can be hard to pull together a colour scheme when you choose a bright coloured canvas. What the canvas colour does to the light inside the camper is important. Blues can wash everything out and make it feel fairly cold. Blacks can make it very dark, even in bright daytime sunlight. This yellow canvas worked really well. It made the camper feel really warm and complemented the colour palette of furniture.

This is a camper that’s going to be used year round for all sorts of different adventures. It needed to be really adaptable. It came together, and is a favourite for the team. This Campervan will give the Fowlers loads of happy holidays together for many years to come.
